We are deeply distressed to learn that our Chief Financial Officer is suspected of embezzling funds from our general operating account. We are working with appropriate parties to hand over the investigation, so we can continue to provide food, shelter and hope to end homelessness and hunger for Charleston's neediest citizens. We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support from the community, including the time and resources so many individuals, businesses and organizations have devoted to Crisis Ministries. Please be reassured that your donations support the programs and services we provide homeless individuals to help them move beyond homelessness.
